Choral and Orchestral Conductor, Clarinetist and Artistic Talent Scout for Cirque du Soleil, Xavier Brossard-Ménard is a jack of all trades, bringing passion, expertise and excellence to all his endeavors.

Recognized for his spirited approach to music, his intelligent interpretations, as well as his original, innovative programming, Xavier Brossard-Ménard is artistic director of Vocal ensemble Les Rugissants, a ground-breaking multi-disciplinary choir that brings choral music in the 21st Century.

He has lead several renowned choral ensembles, notably the Toronto Children’s Chorus, the McGill Conservatory Singers, the Toronto Mendelssohn Choir, but also conducted and collaborated with major symphony orchestra such as Montreal Symphony Orchestra, Orchestre métropolitain, Orchestre Symphonique de Longueuil and Orchestre Classique de Montréal.

In the field of theatre, he was a consultant for Quills, the play produced by Robert Lepage’s theatre company Ex Machina. For the cinema he recorded the music for Pour l’Amour de Dieu by Micheline Lanctôt and acted in the film Chorus by Francois Delisle.
